A CULINARY CULTURAL EXPERIENCE

Our restaurant has a rich history and was originally a cheese factory. Today, it is decorated throughout with old objects and antiques from the cheese factory and private homes from the mid-19th century. The homely and intimate atmosphere creates a unique cultural experience, both visually and culinary.

We serve everything from traditional farmer’s food to exquisite party dishes, made with local ingredients from the forest, mountains and fjords.

On the menu you will find, among other things, freshly baked lapparen, juicy Hereford beef from animals that graze in the high mountains in the summer and in the valley in the spring and autumn, our popular meatballs, trout, sour cream porridge and much more.
